Anyone know good acne treatment for 12 yr old daughter?

My daughter is getting acne breakouts on her back and on her forehead and occasionally pops up in other areas of her face. She's gone to the dermatologist and uses the medicine. It works a little, but Is there a better solution or health practice alternative or the ultimate solution to keep it from reoccurring?
