Are the tetracycline acne pills good?

I Generic pills had them for like 2 or 3 years in hight school, I didn't really notice a big difference. Plus, I felt dumb carrying this GIANT pill container around school because you have to take like 2 pills 3 times/day or something. So a giant container only lasts a month.

Again, no big change. I didn't have really bad acne though, maybe it works for really bad stuff.
